These Customer Terms of Service (referred to as the “Customer Terms”) define your rights and duties when utilizing our online project management tools. Your use of the Plaan service and platform is governed by these Terms.
Your Plaan Account
To use Plaan via email, you need to create an account. Your email's personal information, including your name, email address, and any other information your privacy settings allow us to access, will form your Plaan account profile. It is your responsibility to protect your Plaan login information. You are accountable for all activities conducted through your account, whether you authorize them or not. If you notice any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
Your Content
Using our product allows you to add text, images, file attachments, and other relevant information. You retain full ownership of your content. Although you can add and delete your data, complete deletion may not always be possible. We are not liable for any failure to delete shared data. You are responsible for your content, ensuring it is non-infringing, appropriate, and complies with intellectual property rights and legal requirements. Plaan reserves the right to disable access to your data if it violates these Terms, if a complaint is received from your account, or if there are notices of infringement or legal violations from competent authorities.
Use of Plaan
You must use Plaan lawfully and responsibly. This includes following all relevant local, national, and international laws. You agree not to:
- Access or download Plaan content using unauthorized methods.
- Access restricted areas of Plaan or its underlying systems.
- Compromise Plaan's security through testing or hacking.
- Reverse engineer or modify Plaan's software.
- Use Plaan to spread malware or harmful content.
- Violate the privacy of others.
- Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation.
- Post false or misleading information.
- Send unsolicited advertising or spam.
We reserve the right to investigate and address any violations of these terms, including cooperation with law enforcement.
Copyright Infringement
At Plaan, we value your creativity and want to protect your intellectual property (like copyrights and trademarks) just as much as we do our own. If you see something that might be violating someone's IP rights, please let us know at [mail]. In cases of repeated violations, we may need to disable accounts.
Warranty Disclaimers
Plaan does not assure that the platform will be free from interruptions or errors for customers, nor does it guarantee that the sites or services are devoid of viruses or harmful code. Plaan makes no warranties, whether explicit or implicit, regarding quality satisfaction, fitness for specific purposes, or non-infringement of third-party rights. The platform is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correctness and adequacy of the Base platform or any information derived from it for their intended purposes.
Privacy & Publicity
Plaan is dedicated to securing all customer information and content stored on the Base platform and within applications that we operate and develop. We pledge to implement and uphold all necessary administrative and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality and integrity of customer data. Plaan commits to the following:
- Not altering documents and data created by customers.
- Not disclosing customer data unless mandated by law or authorized by the customer.
- Only accessing customer data for correcting technical issues or upon customer request.
PHowever, Plaan retains the right to access certain account information, such as names and emails, for purposes that include:
- Sending email notifications to customers.
- Contacting customers for technical or other support to enhance their user experience.
Plaan also reserves the right to use customer names for marketing purposes, such as in promotional campaigns, product launches, or communications with other Plaan customers.
Data backup policy
Plaan safeguards your data through daily and weekly backups, securely stored and encrypted within our data center. We regularly test these backups to ensure data integrity. Your data is preserved for three months. If you need to recover data, we can promptly restore it from our backups.
Data retention policy
Customer Data and Personal Data handled by Plaan on behalf of the Customer, in line with the Customer's recorded instructions concerning the Online Services, will be either returned to the Customer or destroyed upon a reasonable request, within 30 days, unless otherwise restricted by law. This is contingent upon the data no longer being necessary for the Online Services or for purposes previously authorized by the data subject. Plaan pledges to process the Customer Data and Personal Data exclusively for the purposes detailed in the applicable Data Protection Requirements or other relevant laws, and only for the required period. Plaan will ensure that the data processing is confined to what is essential for these purposes, maintaining protection under the relevant data protection regulations.
